Sara-Marie Kuntz*

Sara-Marie serves graduate students, working singles, couples, and families who live in and around Ann Arbor. Her ministry includes activities like sharing the Gospel, women’s ministry, outreach, discipleship, teaching, event planning, and administrative work. The bulk of her time is spent directing Phase 2, New Life City’s ministry for graduate students and working singles and directing the women’s event ministry, Thrive.

She has been in full-time support based ministry since 2010. When asked why she continues to serve God in this way, Sara-Marie said, “It’s an incredible blessing to have a job that I love and that I know makes an eternal difference. I love waking up every morning knowing that I have the opportunity to serve God with my life and make a difference for Him.”

When not serving at New Life, she can be found working as a doula for Ann Arbor Family Doulas, playing the French horn with the Washtenaw Community Concert Band, and going on adventures with her beloved nephew, Wink.  Sara-Marie received her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan in 2008.
