CHAOS

6th – 8th grade

CHAOS, our middle school ministry, stands for Christ Honored And Others Served.  Middle school is a formative time where teens start to create the life patterns and beliefs that will follow them beyond high school into work and studies. Students are encouraged to explore what it means to be followers of Jesus.

We continue strengthening a Lifestyle of Worship by joining the service weekly for the final song set.  A Lifestyle of Community is developed as the students read God’s Word together in class and discuss how it applies to the issues they are facing in their daily lives.  Teens are also envisioned with our church wide dream of living sent in a Lifestyle of Mission and are encouraged to serve, talk about who Jesus is, and share how He is impacting their life. 

Several opportunities throughout the year (SpringHill Winter Retreat, Debucks Corn Maze, Christmas Party) are planned to cultivate togetherness and to invite friends to experience how much fun a life with Jesus can be.
