We come to college trying not to disappoint, trying hard to take advantage of the opportunity, trying tirelessly to make an impression, make the grade, make a name. This year at the Winter Retreat, we’re taking a look at what it means to Be Somebody…but not just anybody. Our Winter Retreat will be about becoming a people who have within us the very character of Christ — But, “if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” Be who you were made to be. Be Somebody. Be like Jesus.
New Life’s Winter Retreat is an awesome opportunity to get away from the day-to-day grind for a 24 hour experience filled with engaging teachings, dynamic worship, and lots of opportunities to make new friends. We’d love to have you join us!

Where are we going & how will I get there?
FaHoLo Conference Center is located in Grass Lake, MI. 35 minutes from Ann Arbor/Ypsi, 50 minutes from East Lansing, and only an hour from Detroit. Wherever you are coming from, we’ll arrange rides and carpool together through New Life Teams. If you don’t know what New Life Team you are a part of, don’t worry! You’ll have a chance to indicate that on the registration form and we will find a spot for you!

How much is it?
The cost for the Fall Retreat includes lodging and meals for the duration of the retreat. You’ll be responsible for dinner on Friday night as well as the cost of gas to get back & forth to FaHoLo

An option available for those who can’t stay the night or join us on Saturday.

An option for those who can’t attend Friday but can attend on Saturday (includes all three meals at FaHoLo)

Can I get a Scholarship? (For NewLifeA2 and NewLifeEMU only)
We don’t want finances to keep you from coming so if you would like to request a scholarship, please fill out our scholarship form at newlifea2.org/scholarships. Our scholarship funds are limited, so we assign scholarships ranging up to $50 depending on your financial circumstances.
NOTE: If you are part of New Life Church Detroit, email info@newlifedetroit.org for specific scholarship information.
What do I need to bring?
Sleeping bag, pillow, towels, and toiletries, sports stuff, headphones, cards, games, Bible, notebook and pen, water bottle and whatever else you want. If you’re carpooling, bring some gas money for your driver.
