Sara and I got involved at New Life Church in a unique way: We met a staff member while he was raising support, and he invited us to join the work that the church was doing on the ground in Ann Arbor. We joined New Life to be a part of something amazing that God was doing in the lives of university students. We couldn’t pass up the chance to influence the leaders of tomorrow. I’ve served at New Life for eleven and a half years now, and along the way, our daughters Melia, Kailyn, and Abby have entered our lives.
I work now as the Missions Pastor at New Life. Sara and I are passionate about serving in this role because it gives us the chance to take some of the most talented people in the world to see some of the greatest needs in the world and to help them wrestle with how God wants them to be part of making a difference in those needs. As we’ve taken students overseas year after year to work with churches and ministries that we partner with internationally, our passion has grown. We are trusting God to use us at New Life Church to make a lasting difference in the lives of people in the places we partner with internationally: Thailand, Kenya, and El Salvador.
